What’s going to happen in 2012? What do the Mayan prophesies mean? Is the world going to come to an end? Will the human race be wiped out by war or environmental disaster?

Our experience is a creation of our consciousness, or our thoughts. If we think about lack, disaster and apocalypse then this is what the collective consciousness will create.

If we focus our attention on what is good, the good that can and will come to all of us and is right here right now, then the world will continue to exist as it always has.

This doesn’t mean that there won’t be change. It is the nature of things to change, to evolve and grow. Without growth there is stagnation.

Many people have mistaken “balance” with stagnation.

2012 need not be a time of distruction of what we love and desire, but it will be a time of destruction of the illusion.

2012 will not be a flicking of a switch but a gradual waking up and it is right here, right now. People are becoming more conscious, more aware. More aware of what? Of their true selves, purpose and mission. They are no longer happy to do what others, society or the status quo have laid out for them. People now wish to make their own choices. This will happen and when people create their lives from a place of what they want, not what they should do or what is normal they will find much greater happiness and joy. This will make greed redundant. When people fully embody the abundance that is present everywhere, greed will vanish.

When people live from their true selves they do not need to maintain the illusion of being what others have chosen for them. Without this illusion, the mask can fall. The mask is what creates separation and it is this that creates fear. If people feel they should be one kind of person, but know in truth that they are another they will feel tension. The tension between who they really are, and what they have been told they should be. It is this tension that creates much of the unhappiness in the world.

2012 will be a time of people choosing to be who they are and allowing others to be who they are. What will be destroyed in this time is simply what is not real, the illusion will be destroyed. What will not be tolerated is judgments, and the insistence by some that others should live in a particular way.

It will be a time of freedom. This starts with you. The time starts with you, giving yourself permission to be how you are. To free yourself from the constraints of others. this will require courage and faith.

Have courage. The world will be grateful. As you live the life you choose, some will despise you for it, only because they are still enslaved. But they will come to realise that by being who you choose, you inspire them and give them permission to do so to. So do not judge those who berate you for being free. Have compassion as it is only because they are not yet free.

Enslaving yourself once more will not make them happy, but it will only cause them to them believe that their prisons were real.
