Cycle of Evolution

The only constant is change. The universe is always in motion and always growing, ever since the big bang the only constant is change.

In nature, business, life and almost everywhere change happens in distinct and predictable cycles, yet when it comes to our own personal development people seem to strive for a status quo, a “balance” and it’s this desire for balance that actually unbalances us.

Throughout our lives we constantly change and transform. You are not the same person you were when you were a baby or a child or a teenager or a few years ago, or even last week.

Every experience you have leaves its mark on your mind and neurology. So the question isn’t “can we change?” the question then becomes “How do we change into who we want to become, rather than randomly stumbling from one state to the next?”

Cycle of EvolutionTransformation is easy when you know how it happens. It is a cycle with distinct stages.

Each stage has its own challenges and telltale signs.  When you know where you are in the cycle and what’s coming next transformation becomes easy, predictable and even fun.

1. Status Quo

There are times in your life when everything seems to be going smoothly. At this stage things will likely feel stable. You have a definite model of how you think the world should be and when things don’t fit your model or beliefs, you simply reject them. Or maybe things are running so smoothly that life’s just a a bit, well, boring! You are triggered to begin an awakening.

2. Awakening

You start to notice small signs, subtle and not so subtle signals, that things just don’t seem to fit in the boxes anymore. What you were previously happy with, no longer satisfies you. You may have vivid dreams, notice unusual patterns or strange coincidences. And you begin to ask questions, which moves you to become a seeker.

3. Seeker

As a seeker you have questions and you want answers. You actively start to seek out the answers. You might be drawn to go on courses, read books or even get coaching. You desire to move, but don’t yet know where. At some point all this seeking leads to the knowledge of exactly what you need or want to do. All you need to do is to do it. Sadly due to fear of change many people resist this and try to go back, which triggers chaos.

4. Chaos

This stage can be highly emotional, challenging and confusing. You just don’t know what to do. You may seem to have one foot in the past and one in the future. It can feel very uncomfortable and you may even have problems in areas such as relationships, finances, work and family. At some point you make a firm decision to take action, or get the help you need. When this happens things start to clear up for you and you get a vision of how you want your life to be.

5. Visionary

Once you have made a decision to move forward all the pieces start to come together. Finally with a clear vision of where you’re going all the steps become easy, the pieces start to fall into place and the way seems to become clear. Now you know where you’re going and what you want to do. As soon as you start to take action you become a pioneer.

6. Pioneer

A pioneer is anyone who is breaking new ground, even if it’s you breaking new ground in your own life. In this stage others around you might wonder what’s going on. They may try to encourage you to go back, so you need determination (or you’ll end right back in chaos again). Like all pioneers it can take a bit of courage and inner resolve. With inner faith that you are on the right path you can follow your vision through to completion.

7. Completion

This is the end of this cycle. You’ve done it. You’ve made it. Things are working. You succeeded. You’re happy with your life. Having made the change and evolved you become an inspiration to others.

But remember, completion is the same as stage 1 Status Quo, but at a higher level, so you’ll only be here until you’re ready to evolve again. Our whole lives are spent going round and round this cycle, becoming more and more evolved each time.

How to manage each stage?

1. Status Quo (and Completion)

Enjoy where you are, but don’t delude yourself that you’re “done”. When you least expect it you can be triggered into your next cycle of transformation. Many people seek balance, harmony and to strive to maintain the status quo, but this is a mistake.

2. Awakening

Pay attention to the signs that you’re ready for the next journey round the cycle. Each cycle might be in a different area of your life so if you have recently experienced a massive transformation in your relationship, perhaps it will be career next.

3. Seeker

Be open minded but not too gullible. Ask questions and use discernment with the answers. Be willing to change. Many people get tipped into chaos because they know what to do but fail to act on that knowing. Don’t become a workshop junkie looking for the next thing that will make everything perfect whilst failing to act and make changes.

4. Chaos

This can be the most challenging for people. The important thing here is to be willing to get help and support if you need it. There’s no shame in seeking out a coach or therapist to support you through this stage of the cycle.

5. Visionary

Once you get the vision, don’t be afraid to put it into action. Dream the dream then take action to make it a reality. You can’t meditate or affirm a building into existence, at some point someone has to move some bricks.

6. Pioneer

Now you’re going for it and taking action, don’t let the Nay-Sayers put you off or cause you to shrink back. As a pioneer you’re breaking new ground so people will raise their eyebrows and look surprised. That’s your cue to smile, knowing that you’re the one with the courage to break new ground, even if it’s only in your own life.

Knowing which stage you’re at in the cycle means you can handle it and you know what’s coming up next. For a free 3 minute test to discover where you are in your current cycle of evolution go to www.ceotester.com

Being a pioneer – does it have to be so hard?

Download an Audio Version of this blog/newsletter here

Well, Yes! In a way it does.

As the title “pioneer” suggests you are the pioneer of change, which means you are challenging the status quo. You have seen a new vision for how the world could be, or how you would like to live your life. You have brought in, via the genius of your own inspiration, a new idea, or a new concept, one that you want to ground and bring into being. You are taking a raw idea and bringing it into a physical form. To do this, things need to change.

The fact that it is new means that others will not find it easy to accept at first. Not all great ideas are accepted straight away. In a funny kind of way, if you get resistance you should take it as a sign that you are on to the right path.

At Psycademy, we are known for turning thinking on its head. We look at what most people do – and do the exact opposite. And that means that many people don’t agree with us. They think we are “wrong” or strange or even mad.

But actually that is a good thing. I know that challenging people’s way of thinking is part of my life’s purpose. It is by taking on new ways of thinking, and doing, that we can become what we are meant to become.

In every area of life there are the accepted norms. Even personal development has its own accepted and standard beliefs, which if you dare to deviate from will bring down the wrath of others. I should know from the e-mails I get!

In the promo e-mails for my last teleseminar I challenged some conventions. I suggested that protection was the last thing we should be doing, and my goodness it caused a stir. You would think I was promoting a satanic mass from the way people objected.

Indeed many of my e-mails gently (or not so gently) push the boundaries of accepted thinking. And many people feel obliged to e-mail me in to “set me straight” and tell me I am wrong.
But this is PERFECT. When people e-mail me to tell me how wrong I am, I know that I am on the right path. What I say may or may not be true, but the very fact that it challenges people’s thinking lets me know that I’m on track. That and the wonderful e-mails from people telling me how they love that my newsletters “make them think”.

Here is what one person said about a recent message:

“I want to acknowledge you for the work you do and what you bring to the world. This is a very pertinent and brilliant piece of marketing and what I really love the most is that you work on the edge, stretching people beyond what they ever thought or believed was possible and that really is to be commended. Go get em girl! You are a complete inspiration!!. Happy new year to you with lots of love Mary.”

Many of my readers, and clients are pioneers in their own field. And as a pioneer of change you will be challenged. So when things get hard, that’s perfect. It means you are challenging the old way of thinking.

Think about it… if the change you are pioneering was easy, it would have already happened.

For some reason YOU have been chosen or volunteered to lead this change. For some reason YOU have been inspired to ground break new ground. Never doubt that it will be hard at times. But NEVER doubt the importance of your role in the birth of a new order.

As a pioneer you are a leader. You are the keeper of the vision, the holder of the vision. So no matter what others say, stay true to your vision.

At this time, more than ever before, the old, accepted norms will no longer serve us. The old ways must be challenged. Einstein said:

“You can’t solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it.” And…

“If at first, the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it.”

The current world situation was caused by old ways of thinking, they were not wrong but they don’t serve us now. So think something new. Just for the hell of it. Challenge what you believe you know. Question what you thought was true. If it is true it will hold and be even stronger for you. But if it’s not then isn’t it better to let that thinking go?

“Why sometimes I think 6 impossible things before breakfast!”
The White Queen, Alice in Wonderland: Lewis Carol

There are enough robots in the world, blindly doing and thinking what they have been told to do and think. It takes strength of mind and courage to think something new. It takes an open mind to be receptive to new ideas and ideals. So open your mind, and keep it open. You don’t have to agree with everything new, but the very act of considering it stretches your mind.

Keep stretching your own mind. Keep stretching other people’s minds.

My invitation to you is to be the pioneer that will lead the world to change at this time. It is part of my purpose to shake up old ways of thinking. To turn your thinking on its head. It’s also part of my purpose to support others to do the same. If you would like to know how you can pioneer your vision, contact me.

Ok – so who’s up for a satanic mass?

The Pain of the Planet

For years I have used, and trained others in, the most sophisticated and effective therapies on the planet.

These therapies are specifically designed to release any amount of emotional and karmic pain.

And they work with amazing effectiveness. I know they work, yet I still feel pain. For years I have mistakenly believed that this pain was mine.

This pain keeps me awake at night and pushes me on and on and on. This pain makes me strive to heal and help others and to do this in an ethical and karmically balanced way.

I have now realised this…

The pain that I feel is not mine at all. It is the pain of the entire planet.
For some reason this gift or curse that I have has enabled me to feel the pain, suffering, hurts and fears of all the souls on the planet. This pain means I know who I can help and who does not need what I offer. This pain means I know exactly what another’s problem is and how to help them best to heal it. This pain means I hurt, physically and almost all the time. But this pain is not mine.

This pain drives me on to strive to heal and change and enable others to grow, to evolve and achieve spiritual enlightenemnt. Sometimes I don’t know how I do what I do, I just do it and see the results. It caused me to set up Psycademy. It caused me to stay and work in this business doing what I do even though it is has been at massive personal expense and pain.

So many want and need what I offer yet so few will take the very steps they must take before I can help them.
This pain means that when someone contacts me or comes to me, joins my mailing list or even just reads my website or newsletter I know that I can help them. I feel the pain of others and I trigger them to become aware of it in themselves.

This opens up two paths for people.

Some choose to join me. Some are ready to join Psycademy. They read our newsletter and learn and grow, they enrol on trainings or purchase our products. They grow, and heal and change and leave their pain behind. This frees not only them but myself.

Others fear me. They are not ready and so they fear my business, they are suspicious. They come into contact with us and feel pain. They suddenly feel their own pain that they have kept suppressed for years. The mistakenly blame or accuse us, me for causing this pain. They attack me, viciously and personally, and that too hurts me. After all I’m only a human with a gift for raising awareness. But I know it is only their pain that is talking, not the true spirit behind them. So I forgive them and move on to the next person who is ready.

Right now, the world is in pain. Probably more pain than ever before. I can feel your pain. The fear, fear of lack, fear of failure, fear of the future, fear for your children and for your parents, fear for society, for the planet. I feel the guilt and the hurts and the anger at the injustice of the state of the planet right now. I feel the utter dispair.

Sometimes, late at night I allow myself to fully feel their pain. Do I feel it for them so that they don’t have to? Do I carry this burden for those who can’t? Just as any mother whose child is in pain will scream inside “Hurt me – let me feel the hurt for them?” Is this why I chose to carry it?

Do I feel it so that I can bring it to their awareness? I don’t know. It’s not really important. The important thing is that I keep on going. I keep offering the love and support that I do. I keep sending my newsletters, posting on my blog, going and meeting people, speaking to people, running my trainings, offering my therapies, offering my home study and home therapy packs. Offering to anyone who is ready and willing to recieve.

And I trust. I trust that all is well, and all will be well. Even in the pain of the now, I feel the joy and release of it too. Which always comes. Every time a soul finds their path, which may or may not be with Psycademy, I feel that release and that joy.

What I feel cannot be described. But I do not believe in am alone. There are a few, a very few who know what it takes for me to do what I do.

Join me. Leave me. Choose your path, but release your pain, surrender to it and become free. Descend into the pain. Don’t fear it. Dive into it. You will become connected in a way you never imagined possible.

Your pain will turn to bliss and joy.

Free yourselves. Free the planet.
